In the cruiser world, appearances and rider comfort are as important as Huge power, so Kawasaki polished the valve covers and cooling fins for a bright, high performance image. The 1600 Mean Streak s bright 17-inch aluminum wheels enhance the bike and a higher power and SPD image, while radial tires exceptional grip and stability.

2007 Kawasaki Vulcan 1600 Mean Streak

motor
1552 cc / 95 cu. 50 inch Vtwin offers abundant low-and mid-rpm power
Polished valve covers and cooling fins enhance the bright, sporty image

Liquid Cooling
Maintains consistent engine temperatures for long engine life and sustained power
Auxiliary fan keeps things cool even in traffic

Four valves per cylinder
compact combustion chamber for increased compression ratio without detonation
Increases low-end torque and provides maximum valve area for optimum flow

Hydraulic Valve Lash Adjusters
Keeps valves quiet with no maintenance and no adjustment is required

Digital gas injection
provides an excellent engine response and power with less gas consumption
Two different systems are switched and used automatically according to engine load for precise control of gas injection
Compact electronic control unit processes information faster for better motor response

Dual Throttle Bodies
Several 40mm throttle bodies use one injector for each cyl.
Separate intake tract for each throttle body provides smoother engine operation
Four nozzles at the tip of each injector, with two nozzles aimed at each intake valve

Double Plug Digital Ignition
Microprocessor controlled timing
Two spark plugs per combustion chamber cut detonation for extra durability

The 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 motorcycle. Although the style varies from one to another bike, kawasaki has the 903cc (55.1-cid s), liquid-cooled, SOHC, four valves per cylinder V-twin engine people have come to love in the vulcan 900. Fueled by an injection EFI setup with 34mm Keihin throttle bodies, this provides 58.2 lbs-ft of torque at 3500 rpm, so there is enough grunt to work with long after learning how to drive. fuel in this case is anything but a murderer, so there s no overdrive sixth gear, but a five-SPD tranny help keep things lively in the open route. The biggest majority of cruisers (be they classics or customs) have recently started moving over to belt final drive so assume that their Kawasaki Vulcan 900 line-up would as well. This work provides quiet, smooth power delivery and also requires little maintenance.

None of the small and fairly nimble Vulcans, such as the Kawasaki Vulcan 900, weigh more than 660 pounds with all fluids including seat height and 26.8 inches (27 cm on the Custom) provides short and medium women riders to easily adjust their models of choice and start enjoy the ride. All models are built on a steel frame and have long travel suspensions.

The Custom and Custom special version models are more compact than their Classic and Classic LT brothers and sisters. These provide increased front and rear brake discs (300mm front and 270mm rear instead of 272mm front and 242mm rear) and a 21 inch front wheel instead of the regular 16-inch one which never growing old models to roll down.

The Kawasaki Vulcan 900 s disadvantage is the lack of double overhead camshafts. That would be an inspired move for 2009 as we ve come to find that riders are always willing to sacrifice more or less gas in the chapter as long as power and TC are much sweeter. Also can change into a competitive advantage if they know how to take account of that.

The unbeatable combination are the of the smallest Vulcan, the 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 500 LTD, is achieved through a user friendly chassis and motor sports bike heritage.
Powered by a 498cc, liquid cooled, four stroke, DOHC, eight-valve parallel twin engine as the one on the Ninja 500R, the 2009 Kawasaki Vulcan 500 LTD is very vivid competes with many recent entry alternatives and also manages the handling of four-wheel road users no problems whatsoever.
Versatility has always been the key behind the Kawasaki Vulcan 500 LTD and 2009 model year is no exception. Boulevard of high spd drive to pass the open route, it was like a top performer for the time and it allows one part of the Vulcan’s character. This is not the kind of bike that you read about another man and the first impression, but one that is recommended to you by experienced riders who spent a few years when they just started out. I often happened to hear people refer to as the Kawi or the Magna two-cylinder cruiser motorcycle explosion is so small that you can not just buy the 500 LTD to learn how to drive, but you buy a sufficiently serious motorcycle inviting to be ridden long after experience is gained on.
In the case of consecrated as models, it is no problem to buy with the heart, while the latter beats harder when spotting the bike. Doesn t mention the Kawasaki Vulcan 500 LTD as neither a classic nor a habit, but the overall pattern indicates the direction of that last category.

You get a fender bent around a sharp 19-inch front wheel, quick-grab one and send a PC. chair so it sa good idea to start thinking about from the very first time you lay your eyes on the bike. It would be easy to look like a standard engine simply because there isn ta Vtwin motor contradict us. But the teardrop tank with speedometer, turn signal indicators and caution lights are mounted on the engine configuration compensates for this is not the right kind of bike. So is the 28.1 inch seat, the straight-flow tent and custom rear fender and taillight. The passenger, also a fairly large portion of the seat and the rear wheel spokes has a 140 mm rear tire.

My 1991 Kawasaki Vulcan is having some issues. When I am trying to take off in 1st the bike tends to cut off, even when I give a lot of throttle. I get it after some time but it is really bad. It only does this at the initial take off and not at any other point in the drive. What could that be. I have all ready put carb cleaned in my fuel tank and it still does this. Please help.
